W dniach 9 - 11 października 2012r. w Mińsku, na Białorusi odbywała się konferencja "Sztuka i kultura ormiańskich kolonii na terytorium Rzeczypospolitej" (“Artistic Culture of Armenian Communities in the lands of Rzeczpospolita”). Konferencja zorganizowana została przez Muzeum Narodowe Białorusi oraz centrum badań ormiańskich ANIV przy wsparciu Ministerstwa Kultury Białorusi, Ambasady Republiki Armenii na Białorusi, Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego RP oraz Instytutu Polskiego w Mińsku. W programie konferecji znalazły się wystąpienia przedstawicieli polskich uczelni wyższych oraz organizacji ormiańskich. Niestety nie wszyscy prelegenci dojechali.
Drugiego dnia konferencji została otwarta wystawa fotografii wykonanych przez jednego z prelegentów p.Armena Kazaryana pt. “Ani. Blessed Image of the Armenian Capital” (ANI. Błogosławiony wizerunek ormiańskiej stolicy)
